Sliced (gainesville)

From start to finish, every dish we ordered was drastically different from what we remembered. The fried mozzarella was soaked in oil and oozing cheese from the bottom, whereas it used to be perfectly crispy and crunchy. Even the marinara sauce that accompanied it was not as good as before. The pizza crust tasted like it was store-bought instead of freshly made as it had been in the past. The cheese on the pizza also fell short of expectations. We also tried a calzone, but with such inferior ingredients, the dish was greatly lacking. It’s disappointing to see all the ingredients downgraded while prices remain the same; we would much prefer to pay a little extra for higher quality ingredients.

I've only been there once since they opened, but it has already become my new favorite pizza place in Gainesville. The Bacio cheese on their pizzas is absolutely the best flavor—deliciously gooey and satisfying! I can't believe I hadn't visited sooner! Food: 5/5

Pretty cool place! Good ambiance and plenty of seating. Little noisy when business picks up but still good. Pizza is pretty pricey and not my style. A little too much cheese for me.Food: 3/5

Always recommend sliced , fast fresh and delicious! Pepperoni and pesto veggie is the best !

The Pizza is great and it's a pretty cool little place. It has garage doors that can be opened to let in fresh air, and it has a big enough room for large parties if needed. It also has some large games to keep kids entertained as well. The only knock is that it can take a while to get your food. Once you get it, it's worth the wait, but just know it won't be a quick bite.
