La Pasadita - Gainesville

The dining experience was fantastic, and the portions were generous. The menu offered a wide variety of choices. The staff was friendly and bilingual, which was a nice touch. Although the restaurant appears small, it can accommodate a good number of patrons. The service was quick, and the food was served hot. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t serve alcohol or beer, but the meal was still enjoyable without those options. The restaurant is located at the northern end of Gainesville, but the journey is worth it for a hearty, flavorful Mexican plate.

Our meals arrived promptly. My pulled chicken quesadilla was generously filled with tender chicken and melted cheese, while my friend's seafood quesadilla was loaded with shrimp, scallops, fish, paprika, and tomatoes. It was so filling that my companion could only finish half of theirs! These quesadillas are quite large and are served with a generous side of sour cream. Our waitress was excellent, and when we finished our meal, she even provided us with a bag for our leftover chips and an extra container of salsa to take home, all complimentary. I've dined at this restaurant multiple times, and each experience has been fantastic. The staff is consistently wonderful, making it a place I highly recommend!

The freshly made guacamole alone makes this place worth your time. It's a small restaurant located in a strip of shops, and while its sign may not be eye-catching, it's definitely a hidden gem! The food is great, the service is excellent, and the place is clean and inviting. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. Our server, Yami, was friendly and very helpful!

I had the chimi, delicious! also tried the súper and must say some of the best have eat in gainesville!

We came here with three kids for dinner on a Sunday night. Friendly service, and friendships and salsa. Decor was very traditional and staff is all accommodating. We ordered quesadillas, the pick 2 combo, and fajitas. Delicious! Plenty of parking in the little strip mall, and wheelchair friendly parking spots inside walk. Next door is a Mexican grocery store as well.
