My daughter wanted an iced caramel macchiato after we left her appt at Shands. I had never been to a Dunkin so I had some questions. The person taking orders was rude, not helpful and gave short answers. My daughter wound up with no caramel in her drink. I couldn’t get any help ordering a frozen drink, so I wound up with a plain frozen coffee. The ice chunks were so large they wouldn’t fit through the straw. This was my first and last trip to a Dunkin’.
This is officially the best dunkin drive thru I’ve ever been to. They had our food (4 coffees, 5 sandwiches, donuts) ready before we even pulled up to the pay window and the food quality is way better than any other dunkin. The entire order was correct on the first try.
They are super early open (which is the best time to get the donuts their request; sometimes they do not have certain types because the demand they sell at the end on at least a few of which I like to buy from there! . although I recently have been here twice and their drink cooler was made of milk products, but the donuts were fresh and warm and the staff was very polite! in any case they come here regularly.
The drive thru at this place is extremely disorganized, which causes problems when it is busy and the line is long. the cars try to merge from three different directions into the drive-thru line. some cars come in by a right branch of archer rd, but then, when the line is long it again causes the right track of the main road that traffic. this is not the best way to enter the drive thru, but there are no signs at this entrance that the people go to another entrance. when they come from the 34th road, there are two entrances that they can either lead to the small parking space next to dunkin or to the parking space next to the door where they have signs that tell them to go for the drive thru. Even if I follow the sign and the right way goes, there are still cars that try to get into the line of the other two possibilities and they will not allow them to join together. I understand that they might have waited longer there, but the cars that followed the right drive should be right. I simply go in and command the theke when it is so to avoid this, but then the waiting time is as long as expected. I have seen that they try to fix this problem by putting signs that people, where to get into the drive thru line, put arrows and lines on the floor, a wise sign, and at a point they had a coworker sitting outside the control of the cars. Despite their efforts, people still do not follow the signs and it is chaos. I have never experienced problems with the quality of food and drink or customer service. this dunkin is very small and the parking space and the car ride thru situation is not ideal.
