Covey Kitchen Cocktails - Gainesville

The Florida yellowtail was amazing in both presentation and flavor. Loved loved the sweet chili sauce kick, delicious!

We have eaten at this restaurant more than 12 times. However, with each visit, it seems to become more unwelcoming. The glass is dirty- they should use Windex to clean the door! There are cobwebs on the walls that need to be removed. The service has never been great. While the cheeseburger was good, it was overcooked. On a positive note, the fries were very good as I requested them well done. Overall, I doubt we will return to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a fantastic brunch spot with a great selection of gluten-free options. The service is excellent and they even accept reservations, which can be hard to find in Gainesville, especially on game days.

Food was okay. Staff had a call in and it was obvious they don't know what to do being short of help. They did not work well together and we were ignored half the night. My main ribeye course looked like an hors d'oeurve. Very disappointed in selecting this restaurant. I've had better for less.

I ordered the ribeye tomahawk steak. The first time it was served rare. When I requested them to cook it more, the second time it was still rare. It was a decent cut of meat but priced higher than a typical steakhouse. This was also my overall impression of the other dishes we tried that day. I suggest investing your money at a different restaurant.
