Checkers - Gainesville

I downloaded and used the Checkers app! OMGoodness beyond awesome! Service over the top! So helpful, friendly and went the extra mile as I got an extra pie just because I had to wait a bit. But as their apple pies were not on the app menu and I asked once I got there so waited for fresh ones got an extra. THE ONLY PLACE that still has fried apple pies coated in cinnamon sugar! YES PLZ AND TY! This place has been here for many years and STILL totally so good! Great fast food at THE most awesome prices! This location employees ROCK!!!

Long wait, 30 min in drive thru, but friendly staff. Food was hot, correct, and good!! I didn't get the cashier's name, but she was very helpful and kind, very deserving of a pay increase!! She was a jewel!!

Come on! The French Fries here are the definition of amazing! I don't care what McKroc, hamburger girl (though we love ya girl! , or that honestly kinda creepy king dude say about their fries, Checkers is hands down the very best French Fries in fast food. Yes, even better than the nice waffle fries folks (but we all know their chicken sandwiches are tops . In fact, it is not unheard of at our house to go get the nice folks chicken sandwiches, go across to Checkers for fries, then next door to hamburger girl for her ridiculously thick (in a good way chocolate shake that you have to eat with a spoon, and take it all home. Thanks, Checkers, for your French Fries!

I had a huge order for six people. The lady in the Drive-Thru made sure everything was exactly as it was ordered. Their air conditioning was broke that day and it was 102° outside. Everyone in that place from the cooks to the cashiers we're doing their absolute best to keep up with the heavy traffic they had that day. And they still managed to do it in a timely manner. My heart goes out to them and they deserve the praise forgetting everything right, while sweating to death. I will be back and hopefully your air conditioning will be back on for your employees.
