Mr. Waffle - Gaffney

I ordered an omelette, hash browns, a waffle, and a cup of tea, which came to $14.70. I found that a bit pricey for a simple meal, but the quality of both the food and service was really impressive. Just a heads up, their hours are from 6 am to 2 pm, and it seems they are a bit short-staffed.

This restaurant is the biggest gem in Treasure, South Carolina. Seriously, the staff here is fantastic, and the food is out of this world. The atmosphere feels nostalgic, reminiscent of 1997. While it's clear that the interior could benefit from a modern update, they seem to have intentionally preserved the charm of a bygone era, which I personally appreciate. My waitress was outstanding—one of the best service experiences I've had in decades. She was incredibly attentive and welcoming. I often travel to the South, but I had never visited Mr. Waffenl before. I'm so glad I did, and I plan to return every time I'm in Clemson. Thank you for maintaining quality service, excellent cooking, and the unique tradition of this establishment.

This restaurant has a charming old-school vibe! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. They even have a smoking area.

Omigosh... One place in the world that has a smoker zone! Eating is all as good as your competitor, for about the same price. And desert? Oh, yeah! If you don't eat much salt... Don't order her sausage. I think it's homemade and they're a little heavy with the salt shaker. But I don't complain at all... It's delicious food!

3 eggs over easy. 3 pieces of crispy bacon. Wheat toast. Hash browns. All cooked to perfection. Thanks for the hospitality. And the show. Feel-good feeling place and staff.
