Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay in Madeira because they catered so well for our dietary needs (gluten and dairy free). It's right next to the cable car in Funchal, so easy to find. All the food we had (pizza, grilled fish and meats, salads, icecream, sorbets), was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant and gelaterie (Gelato and More) are run by lovely husband and wife team with good understanding of cross contamination issues because of personal experience. We could see and talk with the chef directly, and he cleaned out the pizza oven before cooking the gluten free pizza. They are keen to expand their gluten free range and plan to add gf pasta to the choices, It's a good choice whatever your requirements.
When I want a real, veracious, Italian Pizza I always go to this restaurant. But, if you are looking for a real al dente Italian pasta ... well, don 't be afraid and go to this restaurant as well. My favorite one is Carbonara , but they have a wide variety of way to cook pasta. During the work week, if I want to eat something not heavy, I choose a salad (with chicken or tuna is the same) ... but I can 't resist to have a little cup of genuine Italian ice cream, without any hydrogenated fats.
