The faux meat caraage was delicious, the volume was filled (same for Japan! and of course there are many possibilities for not meat missing vegans too. The cake was so delicious, I couldn't believe it wasn't milk! Meals also use Japanese ingredients such as shio koji for a truly localized vegan experience. I also took the opportunity to store vegan food from the small shop area. Definitely a repeater. Note: In my experience (a reservation was not required.
This charming restaurant is owned by a friendly woman who tries her best to speak English and explain the menu. The menu is macrobiotic, but everything is delicious! I loved the daikon steak - it was very tasty and more affordable than Tokyo prices. I suggest making reservations in advance.
This charming little restaurant is owned by a welcoming woman who will do her best to communicate with you in English and walk you through the menu. The menu features macrobiotic-style dishes that are all delicious! I especially loved the daikon steak. The prices are cheaper compared to Tokyo. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. The chef is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, with a background in macrobiotics and a focus on vegan cuisine. The faux meat karaage was delicious and surprisingly filling (which is rare in Japan), and there are plenty of options for meatless vegans as well. The cake was incredibly delicious, and I couldn't believe it was dairy-free. The dishes also incorporate Japanese ingredients like shio koji for an authentic vegan experience. I also took advantage of the small store area to stock up on vegan food supplies. I will definitely be returning. Note: I didn't need a reservation for lunch during my visit.
My partner and I live close by, so we decided to try out this restaurant. It was a bit hard to find, but that just added to its charm. The food was both healthy and delicious, and we couldn't resist trying three different desserts. I opted for an apple crumble and cheesecake, while my partner went with a chocolate cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return soon. One thing to keep in mind is that you may need to make a dinner reservation, but for lunch, you can just walk in. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful, happily explaining things to us. They also have a selection of vegan goods to purchase, including unique teas and coffees.
