With temperatures outside nudging over 30 degrees C, we had an enjoyable and relaxing organised tour, wine tasting and lunch in the shade overlooking the vines and the landscape. Very enjoyable and fascinating to learn about how the different wines here are produced, then to taste a selection

As a treat on our last day in Italy our friends took us to this wonderful Hotel/Winery/Restaurant. They had booked a table on the terrace with fantastic views of the countryside. Although there was quite a large group on a wine tasting trip taking up most of the inside of the restaurant we had very good service by the owner Ulivi. I had Tagliatte Ragu to start, Coniglio for main and a very tasty Semifreddo for dessert. All washed down with some Prosecco. A great ending to a wonderful break in Verona.

We 've had lunch on the terrace of this restaurant three times since moving to Verona in June. It 's a great place to come out to from the city and be in the countryside among the vines with great views. The food is good and not at all pricey the sformatino melanzane starter is definitely a recommendation. We were there last on 22 August and unfortunately there was a lot of chainsaw work going on which meant we couldn 't hold a conversation. My husband asked the capo of the establishment who was tearing up and down between the vines on his tractor to please ask the workmen to stop so we could enjoy our lunch in peace. This he did and disappeared off himself to another part of the property. As we were finishing our lunch Luciana, his wife and the real boss of the establishment, came up and apologised profusely for the disturbance, which the waiter had told her about. She had just been out for a while and said she certainly wouldn 't have allowed the noise if she had been there, and gave us a bottle of wine as an apology. That 's good customer relations, and we shall certainly be going back there again, probably with our next visitors from the UK.

Everything was perfect, we spent the last day of the year here and we were fine. the dinner was great, and the staff very kind! Thank you.
