Essence House Cafe - Fulshear

The food and drinks are delicious! The lattes aren’t overly sweet, which is a nice touch. The bakery offers a wonderful selection of fresh pastries and cookies. Everything is made to order, ensuring that it's always fresh. The staff are consistently polite and helpful.

I visited this restaurant without any expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's clear that they genuinely care about their work and strive to serve the best food possible. I ordered the mango smoothie, which was sweet but not overwhelming – just perfectly smooth. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff had great attitudes all around. Even when they were extremely busy, they made sure to check in and ensure I was having a good experience.

I have been visiting Essence House for many years, and I really enjoy the food. The breakfast is fantastic, and my favorite lunch dish is the Green Gobbler sandwich. I used to love stopping by to grab their homemade cookies, particularly the ginger cookies. Unfortunately, they no longer offer these freshly baked treats, and judging by their appearance and taste, it seems they have started purchasing cookies from Sam's. I was informed that the baker they previously employed has retired, which is disappointing. I sincerely hope they find a new baker soon.

I ordered the essence breakfast. When the food arrived it was very pleasing to the eye and appetizing. However, I ordered over medium eggs and received over easy, the potatoes and bacon were obviously not cooked to order as there were both ice cold. Thepancakes were hot and fresh, but were lacking flavor. My breakfast with ice tea and tax was more than $16. No one ever came bythe table to ask how my food was. I will not be back.

I was so excited to check out this cute cafe?we parked and strolled on over. The cafe itself is cozy, feels warm and inviting. The display case is filled with delicious looking cakes?we showed up 20 minutes prior to closing and the staff did not appeartoo excited about being there?the coffee was ok?the red velvet cookie was great?the chai tea latte tasted not very right I?mnot sure what happened but either someone filled a cup that contained existing residue or they just didn?t want to take theextra effort to stir a $5 cup of chai tea coffee. The chalk art on the wall is interesting.
