The garlic potatoes were good and so the vegetables, although I had preferred the onions to be grilled longer, were quite raw at the first layer. waiting for food and drinks was quite long likely because it was very busy. I would suggest a reservation that we didn't know it was an option before. Our meals came with a truffle glass and a white chain of taste both were subtle. We ordered cocktails as well as mocktails a few different versions of the cuff and the river of dreams, the drinks were definitely the star of the show here they were absolutely delicious and were presented beautifully. I really loved the lighting for ambience, the brick walls and older music was a nice touch. I would usually return for drinks. Service here was really good, the staff was knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions that we needed about our foods and drinks, even help us decide on some drinks. Michael was our waiter, but we also had someone who split up as a server, and someone else who looked at us while passing.
Definitely a 10 out of 10 highly recommend.. the location the ambiance the service everything is top notch here... the food delicious... everything from the soup to the bread to the table side carved filet was amazing... Definitely coming back!! Even the plates that they brought the soup out on was awesome. Hope you all enjoy this place as much as we did
The cellar is one of a few stereotypical “fancy french restaurants”, which boasts south california, with the exception of its dungeon themed, Art. It feeds its reputation and aesthetics in these days, because it seems to have lost its place in the sun and its somewhat novelty. You need to climb down a basement until you find the hidden entrance to a place that takes too seriously, and then you need to sit in this beautiful little basement, and you need to eat quite good food. It is a fun place to go once every 5 years, unless you are unoriginal, then come for Valentine a bundle. but, as you may have guessed out of the name, not with the cellar when it comes to wine because they will win. I'm not a sommelier, but if you happen to see castle lafite-rothschild on a list and its prenatal in relation to one, then you can take this as a passable wine list. If you find yourself here, just go out and break the bank as it was. but with the badly fed (and reasonably priced) “cafe frances” has disappeared from the picture for some time, you can go there.
