Staff's - Ft Walton Beach

WOW. Great food. The stuffed grouper is to die for. My husband always gets a ribeye and says its one of the best in town. Service is great and the portions are large!

Walked in and they said they ran out of food. A restaurant that has been there 100 years? Go to Sealand across the street, it's better anyway.

I was visiting Fort Walton Beach and stopped at Staff's for dinner and drinks. I used to come to Staff's about 20 years ago and always loved it. The place could use a little bit of a face-lift, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ate so much and had dessert because we just couldn't stop. I talked to the owner and she told me all about the history of Staff's and how her family settled there aver 100 years ago and started the Gulf View Hotel which is right behind the restaurant. The Hotel isn't renting rooms anymore, but it's one of Florida's Oldest Historic Landmarks. This place has the best seafood in the area in my opinion. You gotta try it.

This place used to be our favorite restaurant to take our out of town visitors. I have been going there since 1971. I will no longer go there because of the changes that have taken place. Bottom line The food is no longer good, It is a shame to see a great family owned restaurant go down hill Salads used to be presented in a bowl and their signature German potato salad on the side no longer. We will never go back.
