Johnny's Egg House - Frostproof

Once again this place didn't disappoint. Service was outstanding as was the fisherman's platter. So much food for so little money. This place is a definite must stop if you are ever in the Frostproof area.

The service is very good. They treat you like family. The food is ok. The building and the interior could use some love and care.

So first I want to say goodmorning to Everyone and Happy Memorial Day . I have been at Johnny's a few times and each time I go there is a Septic Smell that is overwhelming , you would think they would do something about it ,but the owner doesn't have to sit and smell it ,we do. The other issue is the air conditioner must be broke ,because it is so hot in there , who wants to sit in a restaurant that smells horrible and is hot as hell. He won't turn the air on past 80 ,I won't be going back until he fixes these issues! On a better note the one girl waitress Annie is a great server, very fast and gets your order in quickly. As far as the other girls ,I had one who shouldn't be a server ,she soaked my husband toast in butter when he ask for extra butter ,she literally brought it back dripping wet in butter. So be careful when you go there.!! Parking: There isn't a lot of parking space available and there is other shops in the same area so sometimes it gets very crowded

The only thing my wife and I found decent about this restaurant was the waitress, she was good at what she did, now the restaurant itself was another thing, when it's 94° outside and it seems like it's 90° inside there is just no possible way to enjoy your breakfast or what ever it is you ordered, to the owner/ management, no one wants to sweat to death while eating any meal.... good luck keeping folks coming back

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 all the way 1 well done, everything except onions Received 2 cheeseburgers, both almost fully cooked , both with onions and I guess miracle whip? Or their idea of hamburger sauce maybe? Who knows, but when the ground beef (if that's what that was) is still very pink, that means it's not done, definitely not well done.. the French fries tasted like the cheeseburger, they both tasted like cardboard. I wouldn't feed this too my dog's . For a small town with no grocery stores, (no, sav a lot is NOT a grocery store, more like a roach motel) the dollar stores are pathetic, and only a Mc Donald's, all are sub par, you'd think having a restaurant you would have a little pride and make sure your food was cooked correctly and the order put together correct . But just another bland fast food joint that even when there's nothing else open you'd rather drive 30 miles to go somewhere else. Nice little town with no where decent, clean, or food with eating, it's like the businesses just don't care. The only businesses that take pride and have any work ethics are the convenience stores, the new owners have and continue to CARE about their business and customers. Frostproof can do better, they just choose not to.
