Tupy's - Frisco

Love it here! Eating is always great! service is usually good, depends on who you can get it sometimes. they are all so friendly and helpful. eating is always hot and delicious!

The service was excellent. The waiter was very nice and very attentive. We had the queso, which was very good. I had the vegetable fajitas, which were excellent. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and I loved that they included broccoli and tomato and not just the usual onions and peppers. Plus, they give you cheese, sour cream, and guacamole when some restaurants only give them if you ask or make you pay extra. My family enjoyed their food (my brother got the Mexico city tacos, my mom did the combination plate, and my dad got the tupychanga). The only thing that was disappointing was the sopapillas, which were really tough and hard to cut. I don't know if it was a bad batch or a bad recipe, but I think we'll skip dessert next time.

Drove over today, Sunday, June 5, to find them closed with no reason given. We have loved Tupinambas and Tupy’s for many years, but their unexpected closing once for each location has us rethinking any future visits. We are on the hunt for a new Tex Mex favorite restaurant now.

Dining at Tupy's was such a fun experience. We were a party of 4 and all ordered off the Lunch Menu of $8.99 which included our iced tea, Boy what deal!!! With prices like that you need to leave a hefty tip, which we did. Our food service were both excellent. The orders from the menu were the Tupy tacos, beef quesadillas, chicken fajita salad and pork carnitas... which were all tasty. We definitely will be returning!!!

Great food but we were meeting my cousin here for dinner before she headed back home in Florida and we couldn't here each other talk because the atmosphere was very noisy. Had it not been for that.... I would have given them 5 stars!!
