The Uptown On Main - Frisco

We went here for lunch 2 days in a row bc it was so good. The servers are very nice, the decor was chic sports bar and the food was ample and delicious. We had the French onion soup, power salad, pizza, cheesesteak subs and wings. Would go again!

Oh man! I love this place.I ordered the Green Goddess Wrap mushrooms, red onion, hummus, avocado, and pepper etc. It was delish!I also ordered a side of Tomato Soup that has basil, good seasoning, and cream.We had the Brussels Sprouts. Man it was nice and crispy.

So wanted to love this place as we loved it when it was the Boatyard and used to be weekly regulars.We got seated at 5:00pm and no happy hour menu was given to us while everyone around us was enjoying happy hour items. Ok. No big deal. We thought 5:00pm was the cutoff. We found out later that other people were seated next to us and were offered happy hour menus…We ordered an ice tea and ordered our food. Large pizza and a burger with mushrooms.We then waited a good 20-25 minutes until our ice tea was brought to the table. It was lukewarm even though the glass was 1/2 filled with ice.Another 1/2 hour went by until the food arrived. Both items looked delicious. The pizza was excellent.The burger and fries were completely cold.Nobody every came to check on our food or drinks so we just shared the pizza and set the hamburger and empty ice tea to the side.When the waiter finally came, we were done with the pizza. He didn’t seem surprised the burger was cold, simply apologized and said he would take it off the bill. No manager ever came to the table to talk to us. We were basically treated like someone who was expected to never return. As a local resident who tries to support local businesses, it was just very disappointing.

Best place we ate at while on vacation. The almond joy martini was amazing as was all of the food we ordered! French onion soup, chicken skewers, steak sliders. Everything came out fast and our waitress was very friendly.

All the burgers look the same. we ordered three different types at our table and they all came and looked quite exactly the same and they lubricated meh. super boring burger for $16, thank you. I have the spicy burger and it was not spicy at all. the hot sauces on the table are spicier than the burger. the fries are clearly only frozen store-bought frits that they freeze, and they are the great soggy fiesen fries. they are also super stingy about how many pommes they give them, as from any reason kartoffeln cost a lot. the salt shakers are those who give them on aircraft and they need to remove the lid to use it because there is no salt different in the round. afteros was good.
