Meso Asia - Frisco

I pass by this restaurant almost daily and decided to finally stop in one day. Our server was unfriendly and distracted by a loud conversation on the phone. The spicy dumplings were greasy and not worth trying. The orange chicken tasted like it was not freshly made, with the chicken being overcooked as if it had been microwaved for too long. I would not recommend stopping by this restaurant, as there are many other restaurants in the area that offer better options.

Their Korean BBQ short ribs are delicious, however, the peppers and onions are always limp (not soft from overcooking, but like they used older ones). Additionally, the peas in the fried rice are always hard in the middle. I have ordered this dish (BBQ and fried rice) about 6 times, and every time they were the same. Recently, the fried rice has been extremely oily. After my first bite, I noticed it tasted like butter. I have attached a picture of my plate after eating my leftover rice, which was covered in oil. Overall, the food is still the best Chinese food in the area. I will continue to order the fried rice, but with no peas and carrots, and I will pat it down with paper towels to remove some oil. I will still order the Korean short ribs, but will not eat the onions and peppers. It is frustrating that I have to go through all this, especially when the two items cost me about $35 total. If they could address these issues, this place would easily receive 5 stars.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Meso Asia with a wide variety of menu options to choose from. My friend was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu choices that his mother would enjoy. I highly recommend checking out Meso Asia for a great meal.

I went with a large relatiw group, so we had the opportunity to try a lot of different directed. the taste, the quality and the presentation of the dishes was all very good. the service was fast and friendly. large traditional Chinese cuisine. do not go there to search general tso’s chicken or bark meat with broccoli or other American menu items. but if they want to be authentic, it is a great place. highly recommended!
