Highland Noodles Jīn Chéng Lán Zhōu Lā Miàn

I had high expectations for this restaurant. The food was decent, but it didn't wow me. The pasta is freshly made and has a good texture, but I felt that the soup could have been better. It lacked richness. They offer more than just noodle dishes, all of which were surprisingly good. However, the prices are a bit high. A meal for 2 adults and 2 small children easily cost close to $100.

I ordered the bark soup with noodles. The noodles were good, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. The bark in the soup was cut into tiny cubes, almost too small to even be considered bark. The soup lacked sweetness and only had green vegetables floating in it. I've had similar soups in China that were much more flavorful with added meat and vegetables. Considering I paid $12 for this dish, I expected much more. I could have gotten a pho bowl for $9 that would have had more meat and flavor. My friend ordered the Mongolian beef entree, which was tasty with the bark and green peppers. The rice was also good. The service was strange as we had to order by scanning a barcode and bring the food to our own table. We also had to refill our own water, which tasted odd. When we asked for drinks, we were given a can of coke. While the noodles were delicious, I wasn't sure if I would pay $12 again just for noodles.

This is a new place that has been opened since December. best bark soup I ever had. they make this the langzhou style where the broth is lighter and the bark is in smaller cubes. I have the xtra wide flat noodles and when they were handmade and pulled they were so delicious! the broth was so exquisite I just can't stop fleing about it. the spicy huh was also to die. we asked for mild and that was perfect for us. the ladies and the other waiting staff were so friendly and friendly. I can't expect to come back and bring my father and my mother.

One of my best restaurant experiences because of the food and service. I can see why some comments would complain about the price 15 for regular and $16 for large noodle bowl), but I do believe that the quality is on par given the ingredient and labor. Our server (young girl with glasses) was very nice too. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of their other dishes.

Love this place! This place is next to the 99 ranch which is really convenient. The service is the BEST!!!I love their noodles and their soups. Really good!! The price is kind of high compared to their portion.Anyways, their food quality is good:
