This has been happening for YEARS, so I avoid this particular Sunway altogether even though this is the Subway closest to me. I decided to pop in today and AGAIN a long line and one poor employee making sandwiches AND checking out. Unfortunately I was not the only one to come and leave because we don't have time to wait 15 minutes in line at Subway. Imagine how much business this place loses out on a regular basis. Go to another subway and they are doing 3 times the business and a very quick line.
It was busy that day it was lunch time and the lady's did an outstanding job with the orders.
My 2 teenage daughters walked over for lunch and when i saw the card charge come through i called them. $42 for 2 sandwiches, drinks and chips??? That's more than a sit down restaurant.Apparently the girls tried to explain what they wanted several times but said there was a severe language barrier and that the employees kept not understanding, eventually charging them for 2 much more expensive subs, 2 deluxe charges on top of that, and a nice $5.29 tip in addition. Somehow the sub was built correctly, but the charges were completely inaccurate and high...The girls have been to restaurants alone before and spent less on a sushi lunch than this disaster. Needless to say, we won't be sending them back to this location.
Buyer beware!!!Staff will sneak themselves a tip to your ticket. Regional Manager whose name is the “contact info” on top of the ticket will not refund you; she will not resolve the situation at all, meanwhile fully aware.Was my first time to a Subway in years, and has been definitively my last. Never again.
