Dave Buster's Friendswood

Visit started out great, party of 16+baby got seated in 10 minutes of arrival. Hostess was awesome, tried getting drinks but couldn't answer menu questions. Hostess deferred to server who showed up, took 4 kids drink food orders. Server said she'd be back to finish the orders but instead disappeared. I had to get a manager (who was really great) involved. He took the rest of the tables orders and got the food out. End of story, right? Wrong, my wings came out dry, hardly an seasoning, my chips for my dip were stale. He sent everything back to the kitchen to be remade, but new food still lacked flavor. The manager did offer to get me something else, but by this time, I was ready to call it a night and let the kids loose for game play. Oh, I forgot he whipped up this delicious tropical drink for me also. So the night wasn't a bust.

The salmon was great, very moist and seared to perfection. The butter that came on it was extremely salty, I had to take it all off. The asparagus was well seasoned and semi soft had a great crunch to it. The All American cheeseburger was great my son had no complaints. He said it was one of the best burgers he has tasted so far, and we eat out A LOT. The balsamic dressing tasted homemade, was a bit two vinegary (tart) and two sweet. Tasted and smelled like real wine on my salad ugh I didn't eat it. Food was decent priced, server was hospitable and had a lovely personality

However, there could be better organization when it comes to redeeming points for non-physical prizes, like food or items from the app. The staff directed me to various locations, but many didn't have the answers to my questions. Also, keep in mind that they don’t allow outside beverages, including water bottles, in the venue.

I would give this place a zero! Our family spent over $400 for the night, and when it was time to leave, we were not allowed to use the restroom. The security guards and waitstaff really need to communicate better! I teach my son the importance of respect, which is why I chose to leave even though we desperately needed a bathroom break. They seriously need to hire better guards! The closing announcements were not made in a timely manner, and many things were still open when we were told it was last call.

For my first time experiencing dave dusters, it wasn't bad. The service for the drinks could of been better, very slow and unorganized. Didn't try their food. Had fun at the games w/ my girl and her daughter. I'll definitely be back though. Loved the atmosphere!! Sry my phone ended up dying so only pics of our drinks.
