B1895 Tavern - Friendswood

It took 15 minutes to get a menu, 10 minutes to get drinks, and then 50 minutes to get our food. Then it took 10 minutes to get a check and another 10 minutes to get the bill back. The service was terrible. The food was decent, but absolutely not worth the service. We saw people coming after us, eating there and going before us. I wouldn't recommend it here.

Here for a glass of wine after dinner with a group of friends. We really wish there is a sweet option. Not everyone in our group enjoys the more dry wines.

Creative cook, decent food, terrible service. It is a clearly creative cook that comes with some interesting dishes that our world needs more. I tried three different, and I wasn't blown away with something, but it was decent. However, the entire culinary experience was terrible. The meal lasted half an hour. It was at least 90 degrees inside the restaurant at night and everything they could serve us was warm water. They took the rest of my party 20 minutes before me. And it was so fucking hot that other members of my party had to get up and go. No one has ever apologised or even seemed to care that customers suffer so badly. It was also very overpriced. Like a baseburger is $16 and you need to pay extra for Pommes. The food is not good enough to justify prices. I think management must take a step back and consider the basics, improve food, improve service, get a damn air conditioning.

Wow, it took a while to get our food. About 30-45 minutes. It wasn't particularly busy either for a Sunday. When we got our food, it was okay. I have the Oyster nachos who had so much about them that you could tell me they didn't have oysters and I believed you. Not bad yet, but not so much for $18. Really should be listed as an appetizer. My wife thought her burger was fine, but again for $18ish not so much. The glasses for the water also had the dip bar rotten egg smell so that was cool. Cocktails will probably be the only thing I'm coming for the next time. The watermelon was very good. The other dishes could be much better, but not a big first impression.

Found this spot after getting an IV therapy treatment. Ashlee recommended it from the center and the food was really good! Service was great, our server was very attentive and always checked on us to ensure this were good. Luckily we split the chicken strips cause those things were huge! And it came with a lot of good dipping sauce selections and the bar had a lot of drinks to choose from. We will definitely stop in here again after we get IV therapy treatments! Great atmosphere, service and delicious food!
