Landhaus Biewald - Friedland

This is the restaurant next to where we stayed for a week. we made ourselves dinner yesterday evening in friedland. I can't recommend it very much.

We are looking for a restaurant with German kitchen for a car-free lunch with the family due to the good critikens came to reserve in the restaurant biewald. unfortunately we could not convince us kitchen and especially service so we can recommend it only to a limited extent. here our detailed conclusion: the ambiente was slightly rustic but ok, the welcome very nice and the table for 8 people quite ok. we received the menu, unfortunately we only received a drink card when our order should be included.The wine card was extremely reusable, so we had to find out that this means that there is not everything, and unfortunately - the services- only 2 bottles of each wine are available. the evening started quite well with brot and greeting from the kitchen (fish), where no alternative was offered for the vegetarian (going better). the service was altogether not good, a condition was very quiet (worked without comment on the table, seemed helpless) the others sympathetic, but unattended / absent: drinks would not be refilled and not positiw taken up when we got up at some point to get to our wein and to give up. we must say that we were the first guests of the evening and that the number of service staff to guests did not allow excessive demand.Events were good at all (parmesansuppe, salate and carpaccio), whereas the spade was the 7 of 8 to the main course either cold or very al dente. service also made here unfortunately only a moderately good figure (no drinks to the main course, 4 controls to the main course and wein replenishment at the same time at the table, so that it was also extremely healthy.Dessserts were tastefully good, but somewhat rough-sloped.

Huge selection with some interesting oriented. cozy atmosphere with quiet spatialities. friendly and accommodating service.

After the many very good reviews, we thought we had to go to eat. the expectations were of course high as it is a star restaurant. now yes I want to say it so it was well. the greeting from the kitchen and the fresh bread with the spreads was really great. also the salate was great. then the main courts came and there must have gone a lot wrong. after the christmas was ordered, we were told that there is no shortcut but "Mediterranean sweet". Moreover, it consisted mainly of wein. pity! the caramelized dorade in maple syrup was tasty if there weren't the bones and that after the service power she filed. also a pity! gänsekeule dry, water warm, service unsafe and partly unfriendly. I think we got a really bad day. positiw is still to mention that there was no problem to bring the dog.

This is the restaurant next to which we spent a week. we were our last night in friedland for dinner and it was incredible. I can't recommend it enough.
