So fresh, so delish. Worth a visit even if you do takeout, as we did. Make sure you request chopsticks if needed.
I was flying in from Honolulu and the quality of sushi here is on par with those Japanese places in Honolulu. Probably one of the best sushi I had in mainland. It took one hour to get the food and it's take-out only. I almost missed my plane back to Reston
Food was outstanding, service was friendly. Pricey, but worth it. Try the Korean short ribs with homemade kimchi and the hamachi collar.
I tried the San Juan Roll, which included ebi, crab, avocado, cream cheese, and salmon. It was deep-fried and topped with crispy rice, eel sauce, and creamy wasabi, priced at $19. Unfortunately, I found the roll to be just mediocre, especially given the price. The flavor didn't really impress me— the sushi rice was missing that subtle sweetness, and the wasabi sauce felt like an odd addition. While a couple of the tempura pieces were crunchy, the crispy rice was rather soft. I also ordered the Hamachi Carpaccio, which came with cilantro, jalapeno, black tobiko, yuzu, and truffle salt for $23.
