Blue Water Bar & Grill - Friday Harbor

Excellent fish tacos! absolutely delicious! others at the table were happy with their meal times, including a burger and fish and chips. service was good and the lookout was great. we were very happy that they were open at 4:00 on Tuesday. not much else.

One of the only places that were still open at night was eating well, burgers are from costco or something, but it was still good. fish sticks not so much. beautiful, but very expensive. dogs allowed on veranda.

Our waitress was amazing and went beyond and beyond. the service was top notch. eating is very expensive. but good experience.

Quite a few unique dishes, and a bit pricey, but that's probably because it's a relatively remote location. Charming building, looking over the ferry dock and beyond...

We had a quiet off season dinner at the Blue Water Bar and Grill in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island at the end of Nov 2021. Our entrees were a salad with crab cakes which were flavorful and delicious and also sashimi yellowtail that was to die for. The menu choice was very decent and you can download it online. There was a full bar but we imbibed in wine only. Over 3 days we did not eat at the same place twice but if I had, it would have been here. It was late, quiet, off season and I needed the down time. This was the place to relax. I did not sit in the wonderful bar area, which is rare for me, but they had one! I will next time.
