Sushi Day - Fresno

Was greeted immediately when I walked in. I decided to sit at the bar. Great service. Lots of different plates passed by. I enjoyed the meal. This is a nice Diamond in the rough. Elizabeth was great with service. The Chefs I kept bothering on what they served up. Thanks guys for being very responsive chill.

The service was great, our waitress sat us and took our order and came to our table as needed. We ordered Sashimi (Maguru Blue Fin), and it was delicious. We also asked for some substitutions or additions to our rolls and there were no issues. We asked for a Spicy Tuna but add Avocado, and a Green Hunter with no unagi or orange sauce. They have an outdoor setting as well but not so noticeable when you are walking in.

What can I say? No frills really but the best fish in the area. I have been going there since 2001 for a reason!!!!

Not impressed at all. We came right when they opened, 1st customers there. We ordered take out, paid (included a tip), sat down to wait, then people began trickling in. Eventually the place got so full a waitress asked us to stand so she could seat a family where we were. So we stood for about 25-30 mins. waiting for our food, while everyone else was getting served around us. Finally we got our food, and when we asked for more sauce to-go, the waitress got super stingy and wouldn't even give us an extra one without charging us. I suppose we thought it wouldn't be a big deal since we waited for so long, watched others who came in after us finish their meal in front of us, we tipped even though we didn't dine-in. Guess it was! You could tell they are greedy. And the food was basic. I ordered a tempura roll, and it didn't even have any drizzle on it, super plain not worth the $60 we spent for 2 people! I finished my food was still hungry. Wouldn't recommend this place, Bluefin Sushi is way better!

Took some time to get seated due to it being busy but service was great. Food came out quickly and we were checked on consistently, food is great. Baked muscles were a delicious surprise.Food: 5/5
