You can tell it was old because rice turns yellow-Ish and some grains can become chewy/hard after 2-3 days. There was a definite difference in color and texture between the rice used for the sushi (whiter, softer) and what accompanied the bento meals. There is no excuse not to serve patrons fresh food, especially a staple like rice.
I 'm so happy that I finally decided to walk in and try a sushi roll from here. I got great service the chefs that prepared my one meal a day listened to what I wanted they didn 't try to talk me out of not being able to make it.. therefore this will be my go to sushi location from now on they had a great conversational attitude my kind of place they even joked that when i go my roll will be the Letty special .
The food is good service is friendly. The wait is not very long, quick service. The only thing I didn't like was they put teriyaki sauce on everything. It still tastes great, but it's just my own preference.
We had the Teppanyaki Trio Plate, soooo good. The noodles were great and definitely something different for a Teppanyaki establishment. The garlic edamame is definitely a must try. You can dine in or do the teppanyaki style seating, so its nice for a quick meal or a fun experience. I highly recommend!
Foods always great, teppanyaki by far better- lower price, better tricks and they give you noodles AND rice! 5 stars but I do hope they start turning on AC, our table was sweatin, signs on thermostat to not touch. But not gonna complain about service or food. Just hope the owners handle this as everyone was complaining
