Mad Duck Craft Brewing - Fresno

I visited the restaurant for an appetizer and a beer, and I had a great experience. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. When her shift ended, the waiter who took over continued to provide excellent service. We ended up staying longer than we had intended and ordered more drinks, food, and even dessert. I'm excited to return and try out some new beers. During our visit, we ordered wings, ahi nachos, calamari, a pulled pork slider, and a brownie with ice cream.

Every time I visit this restaurant, I am impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. They offer a great selection of house-made beers and a nice variety of pub-style dishes. The atmosphere is quite lively, and it can be a bit noisy, but given that it’s a bar and restaurant, that’s to be expected. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, this might not be the ideal spot, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. However, if you’re in the mood for good beer and delicious food in a fun, energetic environment, this place is an excellent choice. Just be aware that it can get busy, so make your plans accordingly.

TLDR: friendly service with great local beers but overcooked burger and soggy tater totsI wanted to order the homemade stout but they ran out so I got their non homemade one and it was very tasty. Other friends got the mad duck brews and thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered the burger and the portion size was much smaller than expected while the beef patty was well over cooked. Brie cheese works well in theory but on a burger, it barely adds any flavor.The loaded tots were good flavor but may have been sitting out a bit long because the tater tots were pretty soggy by the time they arrived. Friendly service!

Great place to get properly wasted on sangrias and craft beer while you wait for your movie to start across the courtyard. Then you can come back for a fat burger to discuss Chris Pratts performance as Mario.Food: 5/5
