Dolls Kitchen - Fresno

I ordered the smothered pork chops with greens and potato salad. Melt in your mouth delicious! Did not have to add any seasoning. The greens were spicy just right, the temperature of the food was right on time and the taste; well it met and exceeded my expectations! Had to order another plate to go for later!

The food is great. I had some fried fish and shrimp along with 2 sides yam macncheese. The staff greeted us and art work on wall looks good.

Was craving some soul food after watching some videos on YouTube. This little place popped up and decided to give it a go. Son and I got fried chicken with fries, collard greens and spaghetti. Everything was delicious. The ladies working the front and the owner were super sweet and friendly. As we sat she asked if it was our first time... we said yes and she kindly gave us a sample of her banana pudding cake.... I almost had tears in my eyes... because she reminded me of my own grandmother, absolutely lovely people, place and food. This place deserves all the love.

The food is good. They didn't have catfish the day I was there. They recommended a fish similar to catfish. It was good, but not catfish. Call ahead if you want catfish. I saw a bowl of rice and gravy on the way out that looked heavenly.The Negative: The TV over the counter was as loud as possible. The woman behind the coutner was sullen and bored and didn't care that we couldn't hear each other. Maybe it was a race thing? Doll came out of kitchen mid-meal and she was delightful.Overall: 4 plus for food and 2 minus for the sullen counter service.
