Timbuktoo's - Fremont

Good location, next to outlet mall, Pokegon State Park and right off freeways for a great break on the way to Fort Wayne/home. Not too far for a destination luncheon either. Food was always great and a good value with creative specials and menu items. We look for not the same old stuff and they have it! Very interesting building too.

A wonderful dining experience. Spent 1 1/2 hours just eating and chatting. Waitress was terrific and food was over the top So nice to have a real restaurant so close to home. Can't wait to go back.

I recently took my wife to dinner here after reading several good review. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady. After being seated almost 10 minutes our server "Jessica ' finally made it to our table you take our order, as were inquired about the items on the menu she was very rude to wife and did not seem to know the answers to many of our questions. We then ordered our food and drinks and waited almost 15 more minutes for drinks. She never brought our salads that were suppost to be BEFORE dinner until we reminded not her but another server after our dinner had arrived. She did not make any additional trips to our table for refills or offer us dessert. Were are very disappointed in the server we received and IF we do return we will make sure that Jessica is NOT our server. In my opinion the owner needs to be more selective in the help he hires. The food was fantasic but the experience in all was not the best.

After reading the other reviews, I can't believe I'm eating at the same place, but I am. Have been here three times (we go once a year when we are in the area) and have always received a warm welcome, plus a visit from the chef/owner. The food is great, service is quick. We love the chef's family recipe for corn pudding and hope he brings it back! Casual, laid back place. We love it!

This was our second time dining at Timbuktoo's. Both experiences were very pleasurable. Great atmosphere...EXCELLENT FOOD...prompt and courteous service. We will add this to our list of favorites!!!!!
