Haidilao Hot Pot - Fremont

It's really famous for its outstanding services, in additional to the tasty foods. Our waiter is really friendly and attentively. He even suggested us not to order too many dishes, which was quite rare.We ordered three different soup bases, all were very tasty. Beef and lamb meats were very tender and juicy. In short, good hot pot restaurant with excellent service.

Went to this place for lunch, had to wait for sometime to get the sit. It was quit busy, service was quick, our order came fast, Shezuan soup base was mouth numbing spicy with no flavor, other coconut soup base was good. Food was delivered by robot that was something different our kids really enjoyed it. Sauces section was nice. We found this place a bit expensive. Ambiance was nice.

A unique experience where we ordered 4 soup bases which kept boiling in the pots on the table and we had to order the protein/vegetables etc, separately and cook in the soup bases. It was nice.2 good soup bases and 2 were not so great. We ordered the spicy soup base which was just chillies, broth and oil…didn’t have any taste as such. The coconut chicken broth was bland and would’ve been better with some salt. Other bases we tried were Tom yum and spicy pork base. These were good.Staff was friendly.There was a very cute robot that my daughter loved!! ?

Typical 5-star Haidilao hotpot, thoughtful and attentive service, and nice atmosphere. But this location has a soft serve ice cream machine that is LEGIT identical to McDonald's soft serve. WOW. Had 4 cones before, during, and after dinner. It's right up front so you could serve yourself while waiting for your table.Plus, super clean bathrooms with nice amenities usually found only in very high end restaurants (e.g., mouth wash, Qtips, hair spray, etc)!Haidilao makes me think of what Chik-fil-A might do if they ever were to go into the full service restaurant business.Bravo, Haidilao ?

Great value for the quality of food and service. My wife and I came here for lunch on a Friday and the place was packed. We ordered the a-la-carte specials with Tom-Yum soup. Though it was a bit confusing to order through the handheld iPad, our server patiently navigated us through it. The server also frequently checked in with us and provided some complimentary ice cream at the end (the ice cream machine was broken). Would recommend and definitely love to return in the future.
