Charlie's Family Grill - Fremont

Wonderful place to eat. Tried them because of a family recommendation and was very pleased. Waitress was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the menu and was super good with the two children we had with us. Food was great and served in a verytimely manner. Will eat here again. Thanks for the great experience.

Burgers, sandwiches, BBQ, pizza and more. Have a kids menu. Super sized onion rings with light breading. Nice indoor seating area, but no outside. Close by car parking.

My wife and I had lunch at Charlie's last Saturday. I want to commend the waitress and the cook for their outstanding efforts to meet my wife's special dietary requirements. We truly appreciate their thoughtfulness! Both the service and the food were excellent.

To summarize, we ended up paying $9 per child (for a half-bowl of mac and cheese and a lemonade) for kids who are 3, 4, and 6 years old. That seems excessive. The food itself was average, but our waitress was great. However, it would have helped if she had informed us about the drink costs for the kids. Overall, for what we paid for dinner at this restaurant, we could have gotten much more food elsewhere at a better price. I won't be returning.
