Finally the waitress asked if we had been helped and she sat us down. Then 2 people that got there after us had their order taken and not us until I asked for help.
We had an amazing experience, the food was amazing, the service was fast and very friendly. The waitress Tiffany was the best, she was very helpful when it came to my little cousin, and she was just the sweetest and most patient lady. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, the decorations were so cute to look at, the historical pictures were very interesting. Will most definitely come back if we come back to Canyon City
On long road trip we stopped in here for breakfast. We had the egg, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. Everything was delicious and we ate the whole thing. Sadly this restaurant isn’t in Texas. I’d be there everyday!
Probably one of the absolute WORST experiences ever! We came in, wanted to support a small and locally owned business and was blown away by how rude everyone was! The person I was with has a service dog that is a trained service dog and under ADA laws they are to be with their person at all times! Please educate yourselves and your staff on laws and questions allowed to ask for service animals. The “host/Waitress” was sitting people and sat a person that had come in after us, ok? Let that slide, then when it was finally our turn to get sat we were looked at and judged as cashier boasted”you can’t have animals in here” and proceeded to tell her that as a service animal the dog is allowed to be with their handler. The atmosphere at that point was boarder line hostile they were still extremely rude and then seemed annoyed that we were still wanting to eat here. The waitress Annie we had was the first and only nice individual working that treated everyone with respect and the dignity that they deserve. The food was decent and came out hot, Annie was attentive yet the other waitresses were making horrible faces when they walked by.
We really wanted to try this place out for breakfast while we were on vacation. We stood at the “wait to be seated” “this applies to everyone” sign for about five minutes, and not one person spoke to us. They walked by without a smile or how are you doing…we will be right with you. A smile would have nice, but we didn’t get that. We left as we felt no one wanted to wait on us. So sad, I bet it would have been really great breakfast.
