Ihop - Fremont Dr, Canon City

We have been here twice now, both bad experiences but most recently about a week ago decided to give another chance. Wasn 't even worth the buy one get one free meal coupon we had. Service was horrible at 7pm with only 2 other families inside, we waited at the front door without even being acknowledged for awhile before being sat. The chef was in and out of the front door and bathroom contantly while we were there. They were out of burgers so we got a turkey bacon sandwich and chicken fried steak. The eggs were so runny and under cooked it was gross. The bacon was charred. Overheard another table complaining of the charred bacon to which the chef said that 's how he prepared all the bacon and he wasn 't going to remake any so we didn 't even bother asking about ours. I 'm embarrassed for ihop. Obviously this location needs to make a lot of changes because the reviews all speak volumes to the quality and lack of care from the staff/owners. I will NOT be back to this place.

Arrived at 9:05 was told we can’t be seated and only excepting to go orders! On a Friday and they are supposed to be open till 10. Ridiculous that they can just decide they don’t want todo dine in when they don’t want to! While they already had other guess seated!
