Przekaż informację zwrotnąHaving lived on the other side of the river from East Street Jetty for the past three months each Monday night we've watched the food trucks swing in to set up shop. When we finally walked across the Fremantle Traffic Bridge to check them out, we wished we'd done it earlier in the season. Whether you're a visitor to Perth or a resident of Fremantle, it's definitely worth a try. Around half a dozen food vans offer a reasonable range of takeaway food for around $15 a pop. There are a few chairs and tables scattered around or you can sit on the jetty and watch the boats returning from Rottnest Island or the dolphins swimming past. They operate on Monday evenings from around 5pm or so to around 8 or 9pm -- and will be around at least until the end of March (not sure whether they set up shop in the cooler weather). Bit of up-beat music, adults, kids, dogs on leads all having a good time. Both food and atmosphere are tops.
This an iconic pub located on the banks of the Swan River in FremantleIt is winter yet we could sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and scenery.
Last Sunday the weather wasn't very friendly and the sound of rain and hail woke us up around 6AM in the morning.
20 years in Perth and I never visited The Left Bank until last weekend! Maybe I was just loyal to the north side of the river.
I went to this restaurant for the first time last night with friends. The ambiance was great, the food was delicious, and there was a fantastic band playing live on the grass. It was the perfect family night out.
