Dolce Vita Gelato - Fremantle

There were numerous times there, brought family members and friends who visit overseas and even if the service was never the best we would always come back to the gelato. I believe in supporting small local shops, even if a new ice cream franchise opened around the corner, we still decided to return to Dolce Vita. Well, I think today was the last time ... my husband ordered 2 balls in a cup as he always does. The young boy behind the counter handed a cup that looked empty from the side. When we pointed out twice that he was a bit greedy on the size of the failure, he ignored our comment and continued with the rest of our order. My husband said the boy that he was not happy, and the boy still seemed to take care so that we decided to cancel the order and relieving the order. Too bad. I do not think we'll be back soon.

Was a few times here and it was always good! ???? I had the bounty and salted caramel in a cone ($ 6.50), which was a generous size. Flavors were ????????? Reliable and would come back ?????????

After a fabulous dinner at Holy Smokes, Some friends and I decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream. We decided to skip the usual cold rock and try somewhere else. I am a creature of habit and my go to Ice Cream flavour is Mint Choc Chip. Upon arrival the first thing I notice is that they are OUT of Mint Choc Chip! NOO How can this be? Damn... I will have to find another flavour.... We decided to sample the goods, I tried one & so did my other friend... Nope that ice cream flavour wasnt right... lets try something else... Sorry only one sample per person.. Ummm ok.... A Third friend whom had not sampled the goods asked to try something was then refused a sample.... Wait what? I'm sorry i didnt realise we were asking for you to murder your first born? After that we walked out... Moral of the Story is stick to what you know - Cold Rock here i come!

After touring Freo, we were taken a few gelato and decided to step in here. There was a line, with a girl who kept the attentive in German, while we all were waiting for. After some time, they finished their conversation and started to use everyone else. We were next, but then another group came in and they served them that they have ignored us. We have to have been invisible and I was close. Apart from the lack of service, the gelato was okay, I had the pistachios that was beautiful and creamy and good consistency. I also had the lemon gelato and the aromas were good, but it was a bit lumpy. Based on a bad service we will not come back here.
