General One Saturday in the summer I had my family visit. We were still quite undecided where we wanted to eat. However, when we discovered the tables and chairs on the other side of the brook at the level of the well-known crocodile, it invited us to sit down. This terrace area is part of 2 restaurants, the Rauhen man and the Sichelschmiede . The menus looked similar and so we sat down at a table that belonged to the sickle forge. Operation At the beginning, the operation was quite nice and pointed out that we should slip a little more (with the whole table), because we would otherwise wet, the rain should get worse. At the order she wanted to ask for something for us in the kitchen, but never again came with the answer. So we assumed it would have to work as we ordered. In the meantime, another lady brought us the drinks. Another one brought the cutlery. We only saw the first operation again when it started its way home. There was a shift change and she probably forgot us. Well, not as bad, fortunately everything worked as we had ordered. Only after the main course no one came ever and we had to truly beg to finally pay. They were definitely understated. At full hut now 2 operators are too little!!! The food was great. Didn't expect so good food for a long time. The pifferling cream soup was nicely creamy and also had a lot of big pifferlings in it. I liked that very well. The main course tasted good. I was very surprised that my main course was so big. If a smaller portion had expected for about 12 EURO, it was pork fillet. Very positively surprised. Be sure to go again as it really tasted very well. The ambience The ambiance looked very beautiful from outside. When we were sitting there, it was okay. The tables were very squeezed because of the rainy weather. And it was a constant coming and walking on the terrace, so that the sound was very loud. Otherwise quite pleasant at the stream. I think that during a next visit we will try out the premises inside, as it looked quite cozy, in a way even original. I just walked through when I went to the bathroom. Cleanliness The tables and chairs, yes the entire area of the terssen probably have their best times behind them. At the moment, a somewhat larger terasse area is open, but it is necessary to go through the buffet area, i.e. the area in the beverage, etc. This is probably even forbidden to let the guests through here. On the way to the toilet you will then pass the empty warehouse, so to speak: The empty bottles and boxes are just in the hallway. It doesn't invite so much. However, it is also understandable that you have to put things somewhere to store them. Number of persons:4 Turnover: about 60 EURO

We sat outside enjoying a delicious meal. My peppersteak was perfectly cooked and the sauce was excuisite. The location is near perfect - close to some of the nicest places in town. By the way, my son´s steak was slightly undercooked, but it was immediately fixed with extra garniture.
