Kastaniengarten - Freiburg im Breisgau

Perhaps the best place for a beer in the city. great outsight! but: eating was really bad quality. oily escalope, poor taste, salad not freshly prepared, chemical taste for the fries and the sausages. please change that.

We found this place randomly and we are so glad that we did. after a walk there they will be ready for a refreshing beer. the prospects were great. we enjoyed the beer and carving. we would definitely go back.

Visited this beer garden at the end of our first evening in Freiburg. It was cool and near closing time, so we almost had the place to ourselves. The beer was great and the view of the city as the sunlight died away was phenomenal!...I meant to go back but there was too much to see and do. Will definitely go again on future visits.
