Sam's Italian Foods - Freeport

The service at this restaurant is excellent! The food is consistently great as well. My husband ordered the deluxe calzone and I got the cheese and pepperoni bread sticks cooked well done. Everything was delicious!

I absolutely adore the Sam's Italian All Meat. I wish we had one located here on the West coast!

The restaurant has recently reopened under new management, and it's great to see them back in Freeport.

This place is really good. I am very picky with my tuna, but this is the best homemade tuna. I recommend this place with multiple people who want to sit down and eat. This place has a lot of choices and they are all so good. When you want to sit down to eat they serve you food and if you want to get it to go you have to wait for your number to be called.

Every time I come home, I have to get a Sam's Italian. I always get ham and usually I get a whoopie pie too. But when I saw the cream horns, I grabbed one of those. There's really nothing outrageous about the sandwich. It's just ham, cheese, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and pickles. They use oil and salt and pepper too. It's my childhood, and I get one every time I come back home. The bread is super soft and it just rounds out the sandwich. There was one guy taking orders and making the sandwiches. But they were not too busy, so I was helped pretty quickly. I placed my order, took a few pictures for my review, and my sandwich was done. Lots of parking up front. And some picnic tables off to the side. Had a great sandwich, and great experience.
