Mcdonald's - Freeport

Honestly, that's one of the better McDonald's I've been to. It wasn't busy when my friends and I went at the end of the school year to grab a bite. The service was incredible! I'm not sure if the manager was present, but he was extremely friendly. Overall, the service was really impressive.

When my order arrived, my quarter pounder was undercooked and slimy. As a pregnant woman, I definitely can’t eat that, and I wouldn’t have even if I weren’t pregnant. I returned to the register, showed them the raw burger, and asked for a replacement. I wasn’t asking for a refund; I just wanted something to eat since I was hungry. They made me a new sandwich, but when I opened the box, everything about it was wrong. At that point, I was fed up and annoyed. First, they added incorrect items to my receipt, then gave me a raw sandwich, and finally, they messed up the replacement. I went back to the counter and asked for a refund so I could find somewhere else to have dinner. Throughout the ordeal, the manager was rude, making it seem like it was my fault that they were unable to do their job properly, despite having several chances to rectify the situation.

This place has really declined. I ordered two McDoubles and received them with just the buns—nothing else was on them. When I brought them back, they returned with everything piled on. I decided to give them another shot and waited half an hour for the corrected order to come out. In total, I spent two hours here due to them messing up my order twice.

I ordered two McDoubles, but they only came with cheese and a bun. The second time, they finally brought out my order, but it had everything on it when I had specifically asked for just ketchup. Goodness, they really need to get organized here. It took 40 minutes to finally receive my food.

Incompetent! That sums it all up pretty well! There the worst place in Illinois that I have been too. They don't care about the job or you ! I promise you will be disappointed I was in the drive for 35 min last time the kids begged me to go and they still screwed me on the order and wasted my time! And blatantly don't care . Never been so upset in a drive thru then this horribly managed nightmare of a store . Just shows the work ethic of there staff. Dont bother if your in a hurry or want fast competent service!
