The mussels were incredible! Dogs allowed on back deck, though we put 2/3 back in the car because their excitement ruined the chill vibe of the place.

This is some of the most average food I have ever had. Starting salad was just ok. The carrot soup was filled with course fibers. The scampy had under done under seasoned dry pasta, the shrimp were over done. Blueberry cake was bland. Rhubarb crumble was probably the best thing we had. The gyros were cold and the chicken sparse.

Lots off issues with this place. Skip it. Too many other places around to deal with this place.

Bloom's is outstanding. Their wine is the best on Whidbey Island, and their food is delicious. Visit Friday thru Sunday for their mussels, but everything on the menu is great. We had the house-made smoked salmon paté, Mew York seafood chowder, and shrimp and grits. We paired it with a bottle of their Beach Cabin White wine. Delish! They often have live music on Saturday nights. With inside and outside seating choices, it's one of the best restaurants on the island.

Consistently excellent food, beautiful setting both indoors and out. Friendly, helpful staff, delightful owners what more could you want. We've eaten there several times and am always pleased! Highly recommend.
