After we have been sitting and receiving the menus, we waited minutes and not yet a service. Customers who came after us were then served. asked separate waiter to take our orders .got fed waiting and left. will not be back.

We spent an enjoyable evening havin our dinner in this old inn. One of us had a plaice with a glass of wine and one a wienerschnitzel with a local beer. Both dishes were really excellent, our drinks good and the service very good. It’s...not haute cuisine, but they don’t pretend it is, it is centrally located in Skagen and we didn’t need a reservation. We would come back for more!

I had the Fiskesymfonie and my daughter the Vegetarbøf. The fish was very well cooked and tasted heavenly. My daughter confirmed that hers was sublime as well. Large portions too. PS the Syrian input were the falaffel. TRY THEM!!

They serve ordinary simple meals based on traditional food and very tasty with large portions, outstanding

Used to be a gotot place in Skagen. These days lunch or frukost as they say in Denmark is the only option. The smörrebröd is great, sit in the garden, take a beer and enjoy. A la carte is not recommended. Fish dishes really bad...at night despite situated right at the harbours doorstep. Staff kind of jaded as well.
