The server Brittney was quick to give us a menu and followup with order taking and bringing our drinks. Food came out quickly. Hot and exactly what we ordered. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Mine were poached soft and my wife had sunny side. The home fries on the grill with onions of course were delicious. The meat being bacon, ham and sausages were also done to perfection. Brittney or server refilled our drinks without asking and was there to check on our meal. Overall it was an excellent meal with great service. We would return again.
We were on a motorcycle trip.It was a very wet day, we stopped in to get a coffee and warm up.The ladies there were extremely kind to the point where they put my wife's wet clothes in the drier. We stayed and had breakfast while we waited. The food was excellent. I had the breakfast skillet, you couldn't want more.Again we can't thank the ladies enough they took a miserable day and brought their own kind of sunshine to it.
This is an older style diner off the beaten path with delicious home cooked meals in trucker size portions! Staff were friendly and helpful!
We've stopped here many times over the years on our way to Fredericton for work trips but usually only for coffee/snack. This was the first time for a meal and we weren't disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the portion size will satisfy any appetite. The food was very good as was the service. We had a clubhouse sandwich (very delicious) and eggs Benedict (breakfast available all day). The EB was good but the sauce didn't seem home made contrary to just about everything else on the menu. For dessert, we had a huge piece of butterscotch pie and it was delicious! The restaurant itself is somewhat old and very basic decor but clean. It's situated about half way between Moncton and Fredericton just off route 2 (TCH). If you're ever on your way to either of these places and hungry enough that you can't wait to get to the next city, this is a very good place to stop for a meal.
A group of 5 women stopped for breakfast and found the service and food to be good. The portions were large and the prices were reasonable. The spot was very busy too, but we had no problems whatsoever. Hodge Podge was the special of the day, and I didn't know what it was, so they brought me a sample of it to try. I thought that was very nice of them. I ended up ordering breakfast, though, and it was good. Would certainly return to this spot when in the area breakfast, lunch or dinner.
