Przekaż informację zwrotnąMy boyfriend and I dined here on Saturday evening. The food was pretty good! I had the se-ew with chicken and my boyfriend had the cashew chicken. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Unfortunately, we each had the exact meal at a restaurant in Halifax a few days earlier, which made it impossible not to notice that our meals at Damda were inferior in taste and quality to the cheaper, larger, and yummier meals we had at the Halifax restaurant. Still, Damda was pretty good. Service was highly professional. This restaurant is super elegant and comfortable. The bathrooms are so stunning and clean, that I could eat my meal on the toilet if I had to. I am obviously exaggerating, but seriously, go to the bathroom here. Recommended.
We visited Damda for dinner and I was excited all week to try this place for dinner. My wife and I were both beyond starving. She ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was ok tasting but we were shocked at how small the portions were. One ice cream scoop of rice and the amount of chicken and veggies barley covered the plate. I ordered the cashew chicken same issue there just wasn't enough food for a $21 plate. We should of ordered appetizers prior to our meal. The decor was amazing tho.
My wife and I were looking for something new, so we gave Damda a try and we are glad we did. The restaurant was well staffed and we didn’t have to wait too long for our drink order. The appetizer and mains were fantastic. Although we sat on the patio, we did take a look inside and the décor and atmosphere was very nice. Of note, the washrooms are very clean, which is a big plus for us. Our lunch, which included three Vietnamese Lemon Ice Teas with Vodka, one dinner Pad Thai with Tofu, one lunch Pad Thai, and one vegetable tempura, came out to $64.40. The price was a little high in my opinion, but did not take away from the great lunch. We’ll be back.
Really good Fresh Vietnamese Cuisine I give Damda a 11 out of 10 on the Huggable scale. The food tasted so good it was like a Zen, relaxing and Krista was fabulous taking care of my darling wife and I. Hugs Jim
I do not often get to Fredericton and was walking downtown looking for a nice place for lunch. The menu intrigued me and I decided to give it a shot. The menu was good and prices were very reasonable for lunch. I decided to give the Pad Thai a try as it is one of my favourite dishes. I found the price great and the presentation lovely but the food was bland. It appears they may have tried to keep it toned down for the local area. I should have asked and I will know better next time and ask for a little more spice. Overall it was excellent value for lunch and I would recommend this restaurant
