Huddle House - Fredericktown

4/9/24Absolutely fantastic breakfast and service! Shaelyn was excellent despite being very busy. And the breakfast was delicious, somewhat similar to but possibly better than Waffle House. Worth going to Fredericktown Missouri for even without near-ideal eclipse viewing circumstances!

FOOD POISONING. Hollandaise sauce looked like cottage cheese, eggs with completely raw clear liquid pouring off the plate. Cook started yelling and got really mad that I couldn't eat chunky Hollandaise sauce. We almost walked out but the kids needed to eat I ordered something different in stead and now have FOOD POISONING. Was there around 5-6:45pm ish on Sunday. The server was nice I left a good tip for her, she got yelled at because I had to send the first order back. The cook seamed dangerous. I HAVE BEEN SICK SINCE LAST NIGHT!

NOT HAPPY BC WE HAD TO WAIT SO LONG FOR OUR FOOD AND WE HAD A LONG DRIVE HOME TO

Potatoes were horribly undercooked, basically wet potatoes noodles, half the party I was with didn't even eat their food. The server was nice and polite but the staff more or less disappeared after serving us and the cook was clearly rushing cooking even though we were only 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant.

During our 2 day stay in Fredericktown, we ate breakfast here both mornings. Food was SO good, similar to an old school diner. Our server was terrific. Also, you seat yourself when you walk in, which was a little confusing at first but overall we loved it here and really enjoyed the Huddle House.
