The espresso here is quite impressive. The pour-over takes about five to ten minutes, but that's just part of the process and definitely worth the wait. I was unsure if the kitchen could match the quality of the coffee, but they really exceeded my expectations. The Eggs Benedict featured thick-cut ham and a very hearty muffin. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, and the eggs were poached beautifully, with firm whites and perfectly runny yolks.

The barista was exceptionally knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. The ambiance was charming, making it a delightful spot to enjoy coffee. I ordered an iced cortado, which was simply perfect, while my husband tried the drip coffee and loved it. We also took home a bag of the Hill Country Blend. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Casual, fast yummy! Cool presentation of tasty avocado toast were so good. Yummy muffins! I don?t do muffins usually, however, those are balanced in taste and softness. Tea! I discovered Orange Assam tea.

Stopped by Caliche Coffee Bar for a morning pick me up. On this stop, I had the Vanilla Latte and it was perfectly crafted. The shop is small but there is seating for those who choose to dine in. They have a variety of pastries and hot sandwiches on theremenu as well. The baristas are also very helpful if you need assistance in choosing a drink.

Fantastic coffee and outstanding staff! We stopped by for a quick snack and a caffeine boost, and the team at Caliche was incredibly helpful in assisting us with our plans for our stay in Fredericksburg. They provided us with maps of the town center and eagerly helped us navigate our way around, even going so far as to circle the places we discussed. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and many patrons brought their dogs out to the patio. I also observed one of the baristas making a delightful (caffeine-free) drink—likely hot chocolate—for a toddler, showing her how to pour the milk to form a heart, which brought her much joy. I would definitely categorize this place as kid and family-friendly. Overall, they offer solid food and drink options along with a fantastic vibe!
