Amigos Tortilla Grocery - Franklinton

This place reminds me of the foods I grew up eating in Houston, Tx. I was feeling so home sick, but this place cheered me up. This will forever be my taco spot!

Soooooooo yummy! Also lots of great items for purchase. Beautiful rosaries, that look handmade, authentic Latin foods and breads as well as other tasty foods and souvenirs; gorgeous belts, hats, bottle openers, unique items that you didn't expect to see looking at it from the outside! The churros kind of tasted a little frostbitten but still edible after a few seconds in the microwave. Didn't really care for those but as you can see in the photos, my daughter definitely enjoyed the soft shell tacos she had, we shared the order of nachos and my chicken fajita salad was amazing and big enough for 2 meals. The shredded beef quesadillas also their beans and rice was very tasty and well-seasoned. All in all it was delicious and a great birthday dinner!

So delicious! There are so many great items to buy as well. The beautiful rose rings look handmade, and the authentic Latin food is fantastic, along with other delicious dishes and souvenirs. I was surprised by the gorgeous belts, hats, bottle openers, and unique items that you wouldn't expect to find just from looking outside! The churros tasted a bit frosty, but after a quick round in the microwave, they were still enjoyable. This wasn't a big deal, though, as you can see in the photos, my daughter definitely loved the soft shell tacos she ordered. We shared a plate of nachos, and my fajita salad was amazing and large enough for two meals. The shredded beef quesadillas, as well as the beans and rice, were flavorful and well-seasoned. Overall, everything was delicious, and it made for a wonderful birthday dinner!

I just had one of the best Mexican meals I've ever experienced. As soon as the food arrived at the table, I dove right in and even forgot to take a picture! The complimentary appetizer of warm chips and salsa was delicious! A big thank you for the wonderful service and warm hospitality. I can't wait to come back!
