Akita Sushi - Franklinton

Very good sushi and furnishings. The food was very good, the facility is very clean and the staff very professional. Parking is at best half danger. You can use street parking, behind the dirt parking lot, over the street parking lot or hope best in CVS next door. Miso was decent, but on fog paste. Clear soup was delicious. Lunch special for two reels and three nori packed sushi was perfect and clean tasting. The prices for food were fair, but the desert on Mochi due to 2,50-ish per piece. I'm interested in trying more. The only thing better was the location. No complaints, but the tea was not strong, even as unsweetened.

I ordered take out, 2 rolls and fried rice. The rolls were simple and good but the combo fried rice was $13 and had 2 shrimp and a few pieces of beef and chicken in it. The rice itself was almost white, basically no color at all. It was the most expensive and lowest quality fried rice by far that I've ever had. Service: Take out Food: 2
