Starbucks - Franklin Lakes

I had a great experience here! I work in North Haledon and usually went to Starbucks in Wayne, but I had no idea this little gem was just five minutes away. I love that it’s located in the same plaza as Playa Bowls and Market Basket, and there's even a Chase Bank nearby! The location is fantastic. Plus, the barista was really nice and made my oatmeal with steamed almond milk—what a game changer! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I think it's awesome that they have a "Customer of the Month" program too.

The Starbucks in Franklin Lakes typically offers good service, especially compared to the one in Oakland. However, my experience today was disappointing. I ordered online and went in to pick up my order, but I waited nearly 10 minutes without anyone offering to help me. There were two employees behind the counter, and although another customer was waiting, they didn't seem to assist him either. No one acknowledged me at all during that time. One of the staff members prepared a drink, set it down, and then started cleaning instead of attending to the customers. Eventually, the other employee, after finishing his drink, helped a new customer who walked in before coming over to check on me. I usually make an effort to visit this Starbucks for its excellent service, but today’s experience may make me reconsider visiting either location due to the poor service. I don’t see the point in wasting my time and money.

The bathroom is closed to the public?! There were three baristas at the counter just standing around. On a positive note, the service was polite and efficient. However, if you need to use the restroom while in Franklin Lakes, your only options are to head home or find a nearby gas station.

This Starbucks in the Franklin Lakes Urban Farm Shopping Center is very nice and clean, with a spacious parking lot. However, the staff inside appear somewhat uninterested and not particularly welcoming.

This charming Starbucks is located in a small shopping center in Franklin Lakes, making it the perfect place to grab a coffee while visiting the fantastic upscale Market Basket nearby.
