Maki Mojo - Franklin

Food wise this place is a 5. My go to is the pad Thai and it doesn't disappoint. The paid thai noodles are flavorful and include chicken and shrimp. This was my second visit and the staff is super friendly. The restaurant itself is pretty small so I think Iwould feel crowded if it were busy. Take out is more my speed. The cute note in the bottom of the take out bag is a nice touch.

This charming family-run restaurant just outside downtown Franklin offers a cozy dining experience. You can choose to eat in or easily grab food to-go, with the option to enjoy it on their porch or at a nearby park. Everything is cooked fresh to order and served piping hot! While it's a fusion Asian restaurant with a variety of delicious dishes, I highly recommend trying the Thai menu items, as the owners and cooks are Thai, and I believe these are their standout offerings. The restaurant is located in a quaint old house, with parking available in the rear. Be sure to stop by this hidden gem instead of just driving past. The prices are quite reasonable for the generous portion sizes.

The food was excellent. I would love to see more options in the $6-$10 range for single servings so that I could create my own combinations. If that were the case, I would definitely visit more often. Additionally, I believe that the COVID pandemic is over, and masks are ineffective, so having a sign that requires masks is a downside for me.

Maki Mojo offers fantastic food that I highly recommend! However, there's one downside: they provide plastic utensils for takeout orders that aren’t recyclable or biodegradable. I found out that there are biodegradable plastic utensils available online. It would be a wise choice for Maki Mojo to switch to these environmentally-friendly options for their takeout items. This change would demonstrate that Maki Mojo not only cares about serving delicious meals but also about the environmental impact of their operations. While not all customers may focus on their environmental footprint, a significant number do. Making positive changes is important for the benefit of future generations, and every step, no matter how small, can make a difference.

My wife and I recently moved to Franklin, and we've been searching for good Thai food. We often order Thai Tea and Coffee without ice so we can enjoy them in the morning. While trying to place a to-go order at this restaurant, the staff member abruptly informed me that they couldn’t sell either drink without ice. I tried to explain my preference, but she insisted that they couldn't accommodate that request. After another attempt to clarify, she raised her voice and then hung up on me. Unfortunately, we won’t be ordering from this place again. I feel uneasy giving this restaurant a one-star rating based purely on service, but the interaction was unnecessarily aggressive.
