J. Alexander's - Franklin

The food is beyond amazing. Well worth the cost. The atmosphere is really relaxing. Our server sucked, he rarely came to see if we were ok, but my drink didn't stay empty for to long, however with the amount I tip, I shouldnt have seen my glass get less than half full. If your spending $140 on a meal for 5 people, I shouldn't have to wait for a refill. Also, you don't take my glass to fill it, you bring me a new glass filled before my original glass becomes empty. I get it, we came one hour till close, however the $50+ tip should have been enough to make up for that. The tip would have been more, but he by far didn't deserve anything close to that. I should have given most the tip to the girl who was cleaning the tables. The quality of the food along with the atmosphere make up for the subpar service. The J. Alexander's in Chicago is definitely the better of the two. The picture I uploaded is a representation of my drink for most of the meal. Maybe next time I will pre tip.

I absolutely adore the food and atmosphere at this restaurant. I have been a frequent patron at this particular J Alexander's location. On my most recent visit, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious.

This restaurant is amazing and one of our favorite places to eat out. The food and service are always top-notch, and the dining area is very cozy. It's perfect for a work lunch, a special dinner, or a romantic evening out. The dishes are tasty with large portions and amazing flavors. The service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who always make sure your drinks are filled without you having to ask. I highly suggest checking out this restaurant! It's a good idea to reserve a table during peak hours as it can get busy, and parking might be limited, although there are parking lots nearby.

Phenomenal meal! Steak tacos and crab cakes. Crab cakes were the best we have ever had! Same goes for the carrot cake. Excellent food and service!

The service here was fantastic. I don't think my cup got empty the whole time. The carrot cake was fantastic as well. Sadly I don't think the quality of the food matches the prices but that is just my opinion. The place stays busy so I recommend a reservation.
