Ground - Franklin

The staff are friendly and the food is tasty. However, I might be a bit old-fashioned—when I use a self-order kiosk to pay over $14 for a dine-in burger and fries and then leave a $3 tip, I expect someone to bring my meal to the table and to occasionally check on me instead of just looking at their phone.

The food was served hot and tasted good, but it didn't quite reach greatness. I found the prices a bit excessive for a burger and fries. My baked potato had a bad spot that spoiled half of it. Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably warm — even though it was a hot day, the air conditioning clearly needed an upgrade. The restroom was in need of cleaning, the menus were dirty, and the tables could have used a thorough wipe down. Overall, I wouldn't choose to return, but it was passable for a quick, albeit overpriced, lunch.

I had been longing for a tasty sloppy hamburger for some time, and I'm really happy we discovered this spot. I ordered the bacon mushroom Swiss burger, and it was absolutely delicious! My husband opted for the pioneer burger with added bacon, and he loved it! The fries were fresh and seasoned perfectly. This is definitely a fantastic place to enjoy a freshly cooked burger!

I've had my fair share of bad fried chicken tenders, but these ones take the cake. They were so bad, I'm not even sure they qualify as food.The first thing I noticed was the color. They were a sickly, grayish-brown color. That should have been my first clue that something was wrong.The second thing I noticed was the texture. They were rubbery and tough. They were like eating a piece of rubber that had been dipped in batter.The third thing I noticed was the taste. They tasted like nothing. There was no flavor whatsoever. They were just bland and tasteless.I took a bite and immediately spit it out. It was one of the worst things I've ever tasted.I don't know what the restaurant did to these chicken tenders, but they did something very wrong. They were inedible.I would not recommend these chicken tenders to anyone. They are the absolute worst I've ever had.Look at how burnt these are!!!And the ramekins were melted!!

Just went to Ground for the 4th time in a few months. The food was the BEST I've had since we started coming. I ordered the DIY burger with tots and a side of fries. First, everything was served fresh and HOT. The seasoning on the burger itself was great and the tots/fries were crispy and FRESH. I was served by the new GM, Scott who was working the grill himself as he looks for more good help. I am confident that Ground is in good new hands and we will be coming back more often! Thanks Scott and Walker!
